Template of the Week ๐
This template opens with a piece of news the reader probably hasn't clocked yet, which triggers a bit of curiosity and positions the sender as someone who's actually paying attention to the space.
What we're pitching: A tool that reactivates lapsed non-profit donors through Meta's new direct messaging feature.
Hi Anne-Marie,
Meta just updated its platform to seriously compete with text messaging, allowing non-profits to match supporter contact information and send direct messages.
Initial campaigns show that almost 1 in 5 lapsed supporters are reactivated, costing only $0.36 per reactivated supporter.
Your supporters haven't stopped caring about your cause. Their attention has just moved to different platforms.
We see this as a big chance to re-engage past supporters before Giving Tuesday and year-end giving.
Would you be interested in an invite to our 30-minute webinar next week?
Tutorial of the Week ๐ซ
Tool of the Week โ๏ธ
What it does? An email infrastructure and deliverability platform that gives you isolated servers and dedicated IPs.
Why we love it? It stops our sending reputation getting dragged down by other people on shared IP pools, which is a common reason cold emails quietly start landing in spam. Good for teams sending at volume who want proper control over their infrastructure.
Next steps: Have a look at missioninbox!
Tip of the Week ๐ก
Donโt make your cold emails perfect.
A few spelling mistakes might actually get you more replies.
A message with the odd typo reads like a busy human typed it in a hurry. And busy humans get replies.
Caveat: don't misspell the person's name, their company, or your own product. Those still matter. This is about the odd typo in the body, not looking careless where it counts.
