Go-To Newsletter for GTM Operators.
Template of the Week π
This works because of proximity and social proof. Mentioning a nearby customer immediately makes the outreach feel relevant rather than random - it's a subtle signal that you already understand their world.
What we're pitching: A hospitality ops platform that helps hotel and venue groups streamline their staff scheduling and floor management across multiple sites.
Hi James,
Noticed you're in the Shoreditch area, so thought I'd reach out.
We work with hospitality and venue businesses nearby - helping them get a handle on staff scheduling and floor ops across multiple sites without the usual spreadsheet chaos.
For The Boundary Group's next busy period, would it be worth a quick look at how we could help?
PS - A lot of teams use it for their pre-season ramp-up. Clerkenwell Social, just down the road from you, just finished their third onboarding with us.
Tutorial of the Week π«
Tool of the Week βοΈ
What it does: Lets you search companies by the technology they're actually running - so you can build lists based on real tech stack data rather than guessing.
Why we love it: We use it to find prospects who are already using tools that sit next to ours in the stack - which makes our outreach a lot more specific. Instead of broad industry filters, we're reaching out to companies running the exact setup where our product makes sense. Our reply rates are noticeably better when we lead with that context.
Next steps: π Have a look at what a search based on your competitors' tech stack pulls up.
Tip of the Week π‘
If Claude keeps giving you inconsistent outputs, you're probably missing a claude.md file.
A claude.md is basically a plain text file you drop into Claude that helps pull every output from the same context - same tone, same format, same assumptions.
For sales and GTM work specifically, it's quite useful.
- You can store your ICP
- Your messaging framework
- Your sequence structure, even example emails you actually like.
Claude just reads it and works within those boundaries.
