Vol 45

Go-To Newsletter for GTM Operators.

Template of the Week πŸ“•

This one works because of specificity. When you filter your list tightly enough, the copy basically writes itself - and the prospect feels like you actually know their situation. The psychological pull here is simple: relevance creates curiosity, and curiosity gets replies.

What we're pitching: A bookkeeping service to small business founders.

Hi Sarah,

Saw that Norva Systems was founded fairly recently - congrats on getting it off the ground. First time running a business like this?

Asking because we work with a lot of first-time founders who are basically doing the finance stuff themselves at this stage. We help small teams close their books within 5 days at month-end without getting stuck in reconciliation.

We just started doing this for Callum at Bridgeway - another early-stage SaaS business, similar setup to yours.

Worth a chat, or happy to send a bit more detail on how it works?

Tutorial of the Week 🏫

Tool of the Week βš™οΈ

What it does: A SaaS-focused lead database where one credit unlocks all employee contacts at a company - not per-contact pricing like most tools.

Why we like it: We use it when building lists for SaaS-specific campaigns. The data isn't recycled from Apollo or ZoomInfo, so you're not competing with every other SDR hitting the same prospects. One credit gets you the whole company, which is useful when you want multiple stakeholders for account-based outreach.

Next steps: Build your first SaaS list here.

Tip of the Week πŸ’‘

Your list is probably the problem - not your copy.

If you're writing to "CEOs of companies under 20 people," you're writing to a lot of very different people.

You can't write one email that's genuinely relevant to all of them, so you end up with something safe and broad - and safe and broad doesn't get replies.

Add filters that make your audience more homogenous:

- founded in the last 2 years,
- no finance hire on LinkedIn,
- first-time founder, etc

Now the copy gets specific almost automatically.
