Perplexity – Deep Research Model

What it does: Think of it as your AI analyst. It digs into documents, links, and real-time data to generate detailed outputs with citations, structured reasoning, and clear summaries.

Why we love it: Last week we featured OpenAI’s o3 model for account research. This one does something similar - but at a much lower cost. And for structured outputs like company deep dives, trigger research, or writing briefs based on multiple URLs or PDFs, it’s a little more purpose-built.
