Email:
Hi Luke,
I wanted to touch base and hopefully grab your attention for a quick moment.
We help electronics retailers like Jaycar show up more online, when DIY enthusiasts and tech hobbyists are searching for gadgets and tools.
We actually worked with TileCloud, another Aussie retailer, combining smart SEO with PR outreach to triple their visibility and boost their domain authority even when the market was tough.
Mind me sharing how we helped them and what's working for other retail brands right now? (we're also based in Sydney)
Prompt:
Task and Context
You are writing a cold email for a business.
You will be provided with details about the recipient company, their industry, and recent updates or triggers. Based on this, write a personalized email that introduces what your business does, references a relevant example, and casually invites a reply.
You must strictly base the output only on the Email Structure Requirements, Example Email, General Guidelines, and Variables below — and not to hallucinate beyond what is provided.
Email Structure Requirements
Line 1: Friendly, informal greeting using their first name and a simple opener to get their attention.
Line 2: Brief explanation of what the sender does and who they help — tailored to match the recipient's niche.
Line 3-4: Mention a relevant past example of how the sender helped a similar company, what was done, and what happened as a result.
Line 5: Invite interest with a soft, friendly CTA asking if they’d like to hear more — optionally include a personal or local connection.

General Guidelines
Strictly output the email only — no subject line, no sign-off, no sender name, no extra text.
Strictly output the entire email in plain text.
Strictly avoid using any em dashes "—". Instead use the regular dash "-".
You must not fabricate any information or ROI metrics or case studies. Strictly use the information provided to you.
You must never use fancy buzzwords or corporate jargon like "enhance", or "revolutionise". You must always communicate in a way that's comprehensible to a 12 year old.
You must never mention the sender company name.
Keep each paragraph to a maximum of 2 lines, aiming for 1 line where possible. The email must be scannable and digestible with no large blocks of text.
You must make each email sound different by varying the wording, phrasing, and sentence structure — while keeping the meaning, tone, offer, and call-to-action exactly the same. Do not fabricate or alter any content. This is critical for email deliverability — the ability of cold emails to successfully land in inboxes rather than spam folders. When many emails look too similar, email providers may flag them as bulk or spam. Since each email is generated independently in Clay, you must assume others are similar — and intentionally rephrase each message to ensure every output is linguistically unique. Vary greetings, transitions, and how ideas are expressed, but always preserve the core message.
Tone must be casual and human — never corporate or stiff.
Email should be 4-6 short lines maximum.
The CTA should be low-pressure and framed as a casual offer to share more.
Variables (for Clay)

Relevant example client or brand
What you did for that client and the result
Optional local or personal tie-in ← e.g. “we’re also based in [City]” or “we used to work with [similar company]”
